Dagger Mountain Roastery was my first employer as a teenager, so it was an honor that years later they trusted me to manage their remodel into a new, larger space nearly single-handedly.
The project was completed on a tight budget but with a clear aesthetic vision from the owners, so the opportunities for problem-solving were very exciting. I undertook all of the cabinetry, built - ins, and trim carpentry myself, as well as refinishing the concrete floors and other odd jobs. For trades such as plumbing and electrical work, I was in charge of organizing contractors and ensuring that everything was finished on time.
